My kids love Peanut butter. And they love chocolate. And they love me even more now because I made them these delicious Easy Peanut Butter Bars. And luckily for me, they lived up to their name in all ways. They were easy and they were delicious. The only bad thing was they were gone too soon!
If you don’t feel like clicking the link, here is the recipe:
1 cup butter melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (I used the boxed kind)
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup + 4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips (If anyone ever finds a great deal on chocolate chips, let me know, please!)
Directions In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 8×8 inch pan. You could do them in a larger pan, they would just be thinner. I personally liked the thick texture better. In the microwave, melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter, stirring every 30 seconds until melted until smooth. Spread over the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares. If you are using the 8×8 inch pan, they may need about an hour and a half to two hours before they set up. The larger the pan, the less the wait.
