Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Bars

Sausage, Egg and Cheese. Those three ingredients just seem to want to go together whether you like it or not. But, you will like this.


1 pkg refrigerated croissant/crescent roll dough

1 lb sausage, browned and crumbled

5 eggs whipped and seasoned with salt and pepper

shredded cheese (I used about 2 cups of shredded cheddar)


Preheat oven to 350. Press dough in the bottom of a 8×11 pan (or really whatever size you have on hand. 9×13 would make these thin, 8×8 would make them thicker. I’m a happy medium type gal, so I used 8×11). Make sure to press the seams together.

Next, spread the crumbled sausage on top of the dough. Then carefully pour the whipped eggs on top of that. It should look like this…

Last but certainly least, sprinkle that lovely, delicious cheese on top and bake it for about 20 minutes.

This make for a very filling, easy, and (depending on where and how you shop) fairly inexpensive breakfast or brunch.
